Meet Jeff

Jeff is the owner and head trainer at Paws and Effect RVA. He has more than ten years of full-time experience teaching classes and running board and train programs, and has trained under more than thirty professional trainers.

He takes a few dogs at a time and builds training around the individual dog and family. The goal is clearer communication and skills you can practice in everyday life.

A few dogs at a time

Training follows a relationship-first, reward-based approach with individualized tool use and real-world reliability as the goal. Jeff takes a few dogs at a time and builds the work around the individual dog and family.

Training continues at home

Progress takes practice. Jeff helps you understand what your dog is learning and how to continue working toward your goals. Ask about follow-up lessons and support for your program.
